Transformation Associate - Operations
Contract Type:  Permanent
Job Location:  Belgium - Zaventem, Germany - Hamburg, Germany - Mannheim

Drive Global Transformation and support selected cost reduction, efficiency and performance improvement initiatives in partnership with initiative owners

 

The Opportunity

 

Key responsibilities include assisting the Director, Transformation to run the transformation office, tracking of transformation initiatives and associated value (e.g., cost saving initiatives), proposing solutions to fast track and debottleneck where needed as well as providing support to the Workstream Leaders and Initiative owners. Other duties include assisting with report creation and analysis, and owning the initiative tracking tool and updates.

 

Other responsibilities:

  • Support and coach initiative owners to define realistic but challenging plans/targets and deliver
  • Assist in resolving resource allocation, project management, and risks and helps prepare Initiatives for review and approval
  • Track and validate the impact of Transformation Initiatives in collaboration with finance
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates on Transformation progress and impact to ExCo and prepare business cases to support decision making
  • Conducts ad hoc analyses as requested, proactively searching for opportunities to deliver additional impact and insights to members of the Transformation Office and Executive Committee

 

Skills required

  • 3+ years in Operations leadership / Transformation Office role or 1-2 years Management Consulting Experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Operations (Supply Chain, Purchasing and Manufacturing)
  • Ability to understand, organize and communicate complex information in an easily understandable format tailored to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to develop, document, communicate and operationalize new processes
  • Business acumen to understand and evaluate new and existing initiatives, as well as implementation risk
  • Master’s degree
  • MBA is a plus
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and derive data-driven insights through logic and frameworks
  • PMO skills to drive the Transformation Globally
  • English required
  • French/Dutch nice to have
