Technical Trainer
Contract Type:  Permanent
Job Location:  Belgium - Zaventem

 

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Trainer to provide valuable training programs to our customers. In this role, you will deliver both standard and customized training programs in our offices and at client sites. Additionally, you will assist regions with unmet training requests and contribute to curating and creating training content to ensure updated documentation.

 

You will make an impact by….

  • Develop technical training content and participate to the rationalization of our portfolio.
  • Manage and follow-up training projects with clients from the handover to the Training Academy to the completion of the training program. This comprises:
  • Establish training objectives and KPIs relevant to the client’s needs.
  • Delivering standard training on our AGL portfolio to our clients in RoW/ especially in Zaventem or Malmö.
  • Preparing and delivering customized training, in the factory and on-site, according to the client’s equipment and needs
  • Train other trainers and colleagues across the organization on our product portfolio.

  • Knowledge of market, market trends, competitors, customer organizations, airfield environment...
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Independent and driven “self-propelling” individual.
  • Stress resistant personality who feels at his best in a challenging environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the Airfield Portfolio.
  • Good knowledge of the ICAO and FAA airfield-related standards
  • Good knowledge of the airfield maintenance, installation & commissioning procedures
  • professional knowledge of relevant international and national standards (FAA, ICAO, …) and CE/EMC/IEC requirement
  • Professional knowledge of products and systems used on airports.
  • Experience in Customer Service activities, processes, and tools implementation.
  • Willingness to travel and to stay abroad 30-50% of the time ( up to 60% if remote work)
  • Master of Engineering in Electricity/Electronics or equivalent
  • Windows, office environment
  • SharePoint applications
  • Fluent English is mandatory  
  • Dutch, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese are assets.
