Tech Lead - Apron

The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and driven Tech Lead to join our Apron R&D team in Malmö. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation technology, leading innovative projects that make airport operations safer and more efficient.
You will make an impact by…
  • Collaborating with the Solution Architect to translate software architecture and strategy into actionable solutions.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of developers to deliver high-quality software, on time and to specification.
  • Implementing key concepts in code and developing implementation guidelines.
  • Overseeing multiple software projects, ensuring they meet goals and deadlines.
  • Maintaining expert knowledge of relevant technologies, tools, and best practices in software development.
  • Establishing and improving quality assurance processes in cooperation with QA.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders to ensure clarity on project goals and expectations.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance our development process, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally in a tech lead or similar role.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical expertise in:
    • Angular
    • C++
    • Kubernetes
    • NestJS / TypeScript

This would be a plus but not a must!
  • Previous experience in the aviation, transport, or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Computer Vision
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles.
