Support our team as an expert in System Engineering for Air Traffic Control (ATC) solutions at international airports. 

Be part of this challenge and join our team to work on the following tasks:

Roles and responsibilities: 

• Support in translating technical and operational customer requirements into system designs using our templates and documentation standards
• Configure and adapt backend components, including operational workflows, Customer-specific data, Flight separation rules, Data distribution
• Configure frontend components, including electronic flight strips and feature-based HMI elements
• Implement customer-specific system logic using JavaScript
• Design and implement automated tests using Python
• Test and verify system configurations in Graz using simulated operational data on development environments and deployed setups
• Participate in occasional on-site acceptance tests at customer locations
• Independently plan, manage, and deliver assigned work packages
• Analyze reported issues and implement appropriate fixes
• Act as a technical link between customer-side data engineers and our internal software development teams and develop as knowledge leader for selected focus areas

Skills Required: 

• Finished technical college (HTL) or studies in Computer Science (TU, FH) or relevant working experience
• Solid understanding of Software, Systems, Networks
• Skills in Linux & Software Development (Bash, Python and JavaScript are mandatory, C++, docker/podman, MS Azure is a plus)
• Skills in Air Traffic Control procedures (ATC) would be a benefit
• Fluently in English, German beneficial
• Travelling requirements to international airports and customers (~25%)
• Team-player with high motivation for the aviation business as well as project work with customers all over the world, self-driven and independent personality

As required by Austrian law, we are obligated to state this minimum salary. The minimum salary according to the IT collective agreement for this position is EUR 3,954.00 gross per month (14 times per year). Depending on the respective experience level and personal profile, we offer an attractive overpayment.
