Reporting Line: Direct reporting to the Team Leader for Construction Managers
Your Responsibilities
- On-site Project Support: Responsible for the entire construction process from project start to handover. Ensuring compliance with all deadlines and schedules.
- Construction Supervision and Planning: Monitoring and planning the construction process, regular contact with construction supervision and project management, practical problem-solving for short-term issues.
- Interface Management: Coordinating communication between clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Planning, briefing, and supervising the work of subcontractors (both technically and in terms of scheduling), ensuring compliance with safety regulations (SIGEKO), hazard prevention, and risk assessments.
- Material Management: Monitoring inventory and quality of assembly materials, timely reordering, and inspection of incoming goods.
- Personnel Planning: Planning and training construction personnel, ensuring compliance with working hours and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Maintaining the construction logbook, preparing and reviewing daily construction reports, and compiling relevant documents.
- Measurements & Acceptance: Preparing and reviewing measurements for billing, accompanying acceptances, redline markups, and handover to project documentation.
- Plan Review: Revising and checking circuit diagrams (redlining), reviewing electrical planning and execution plans.
- Change Order Management: Preparing and tracking change orders during construction activities.
- Logistics & Site Setup: Coordinating deliveries and ensuring the setup and maintenance of the construction site.
Your Profile
- Completed technical degree (civil engineering, electrical engineering, or similar), or qualification as a master electrician or comparable training
- Several years of experience in construction management, ideally in electrical engineering and project management
- Solid knowledge of circuit diagram revision, material management, safety regulations (SIGEKO), and risk assessments
- Experience with VOB contracts is an advantage
- Confident use of planning tools and documentation techniques as well as common MS Office products, especially MS Excel
- Very good command of German, both spoken and written
- Good command of English
- Organizational talent, high level of independence, decisiveness, and strong communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work night shifts and provide short-term solutions
- Solution-oriented thinking, even in stressful situations
