Field Service / Commissioning Engineer

To strengthen our international service teams in Finland, we are looking for a motivated and hands-on Field Service/Commissioning Engineer to support our customers with advanced airport technology solutions.

Your Mission

In this role, you will be an important part of our technical team, ensuring that mission-critical airport systems are installed, commissioned, maintained, and supported to the highest standards.

You will:

• Perform servicing, preventive maintenance, commissioning, and diagnostics of ADB SAFEGATE systems, both on-site and remotely, covering software and hardware.
• Handle and update technical documentation.
• Provide technical expertise and support to our customers.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders on-site, while also taking ownership of assigned tasks independently.
• Perform on-site surveys and compile technical reports.
• Represent the company professionally in front of customers.

Your Profile

We are looking for a practical, ambitious, and reliable professional who enjoys working with technology and is ready to take responsibility in an international environment.

You bring:

• A degree or professional qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Computer Science / IT, or a similar technical field.
• Hands-on experience and confidence working with tools, equipment, electrical systems, and control technology.
• Proficiency in the local language, depending on your application location: Polish or Finnish. Good English communication skills: additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Experience as a Field Service Engineer, System Engineer, or in a similar technical service role is a plus.
• Knowledge of software programming and scripting, such as C/C++, HTML5, Bash, Batch, Python, Java, C#/.NET, JavaScript, and/or PLC programming, preferably Structured Text ST.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, switching systems, control gear, and basic programming.
• Good knowledge of operating systems, especially Windows and Linux, as well as SQL databases and cloud services.
• Certification or authorization to work with LV/MV equipment, such as SEP or equivalent, depending on the country.
• Willingness to travel, including assignments on short notice.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an international team.
• Strong quality awareness, customer focus, and sense of ownership.
• Honest, proactive, and creative mindset with the ambition to deliver excellent results.
