Supplier Development Engineer, PPAP Admin and Digitalization

The Opportunity

The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for managing and processing PPAP for non-customized/off the shelf components and the administration and degitalization of Supplier Quality and Development Reports. 

 

You will make an impact by….

  • Active engagement during the ADB Safegate Product Development Process (PDP).
  • Leading PPAP review & approval with suppliers for non-customized/off the shelf new products & engineering changes.
  • Working with cross functional teams to ensure On Time PPAP Approval.
  • Reviewing and approving supplier specifications and datasheets, ensuring key product and process characteristics are covered.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks in supplier manufacturing processes to ensure flawless launch.
  • Analysing pre-launch supplier data and proactively drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Consolidating and issuing Weekly & Monthly Supplier Quality and Development Updates & Reports
  • Managing and continuously improving Power BI updates and reports

 

The talent we want to inspire has...

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Independent, proactive, and driven to make an impact.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, other languages are an asset
