Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Execution o Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required specifications and standards. o Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the scope of work, contract requirements, project timeframes, and budgets. o Develop and oversee detailed project plans, budgets, and forecasts. o Manage the engagement and coordination of suppliers, subcontractors and partners, ensuring timely and effective delivery. 2. Contract Management o Manage contracts, including the preparation and submission of variations, extensions of time (EOT) claims, progress claims, and other contract deliverables. o Ensure all contractual obligations are met and documented in accordance with the terms of the agreement. o Conduct negotiations with stakeholders as required to resolve issues and maintain project progress. 3. Safety, Quality & Compliance o Maintain a safe workplace and project site, promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. o Oversee the implementation of safety, quality, and environmental management systems throughout the project lifecycle. o Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and compliance standards. 4. Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement o Maintain accurate project information in the Project Reporting Tool. o Coordinate and prepare weekly, fortnightly, and monthly internal and external project reports. o Attend client progress meetings and provide updates on project status, risks, and milestones. o Act as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and relationship management. 5. Team Management o Coordinate and manage the project delivery team, including hiring and onboarding new staff as required throughout the project. o Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. o Provide leadership and guidance to site teams, subcontractors, and external partners. 6. Customer Relationship Management o Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. o Deliver the project to meet client expectations and contractual specifications. o Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally. 7. Other Responsibilities o Perform other tasks as requested by the Operations Director or senior management team. Key Relationships • Internal: Operations Director, CSA, Finance, HR, Sales, Bid, and Service Teams. • External: Customers, main contractors, subcontractors, partners, compliance authorities, and regulatory bodies. Qualifications & Experience Essential: • Electrical or civil engineering background. • Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally in airside AGL, A-VDGS, or similar systems. • Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards. • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
