The Opportunity....

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical modeling. In this role, you will model complex mechanical systems, investigate product failures, lead failure root cause analysis, and drive corrective design improvements. As part of the engineering and product development team, you will help drive innovation, set new standards in a widely diverse catalog of airfield solutions and technology. Candidates with experience in materials, photometric analysis, thermal analysis, or electromechanical component integration will be especially valued.

You will make an impact by...

• Developing, reviewing and enhancing mechanical models for new and existing products.
• Conducting thorough failure analysis and root cause investigations on mechanical components and assemblies.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Documenting findings, preparing technical reports, and communicating solutions to stakeholders.
• Supporting prototype builds, verification/validation testing, and governance certification efforts.
• Supporting and analyzing photometric data; providing guidance to stakeholders.

The talent we want to inspire has...

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical modeling and failure/root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and problem-solving methodologies.
• Bonus: Knowledge of photometric analysis for lighting or optical systems.
• Bonus: Experience with material selection and analysis for mechanical applications.
• Bonus: Experience working with electrical components and their integration into mechanical designs.
