Air traffic is doubling every 15 years growing at a rate of 4.4% annually. There is a 50% capacity shortage expected by 2035 in half of the worlds airports if nothing changes, utimately meaning that 237 mn passengers will not be able to fly in 2035.  

You will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing pioneering software that powers the aviation industry's most critical operations. Your expertise will drive advancements in safety, efficiency, and sustainability, transforming the way airports function worldwide.

The Team:  

We are a team of highly skilled and social people sitting together in our Malmö office, but also collaborating with other offices in Europe. We primarily work on the Safedock AVDGS system and our Intelligent AiPRON suite of products.  

We are now looking to add like-minded, driven individuals with diverse software development experience to our team to help us take the next steps in our Airside 4.0 strategy.  

The role: 

As a Full Stack Engineer & System Architect in our R&D team, you will play a key role in both hands-on development and shaping the long-term technical vision for our widely used product suite. You’ll be responsible for implementing new features, solving complex technical challenges, and, together with our technical leads, guiding our architecture towards scalability, reliability, and future readiness.  

The ideal candidate will have experience in most of these areas, but if you check some of the boxes you are also welcome to apply:  

• Guide and take responsibility for the long term technical vision of the product suite 

• Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies 

• Contribute to daily development while also driving architectural improvements 

• Collaborate across teams to ensure technical alignment and knowledge sharing 

• Engage in deep troubleshooting and continuous improvement 

• Frontend development with Angular (experience with React, Vue, etc. also valued) 

• Backend development with NestJS (or frameworks like .NET, Spring Boot, etc.) 

• Experience with microservice architecture using Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL  

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD methodologies and processes  

• Working knowledge of collaboration software e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Git etc.  

• Experience working in an international, multicultural, and entrepreneurial environment  

• Knowledge in agile software development  

• Fluent English skills
