The Opportunity

The Service Engineer will be responsible for performing technical missions on behalf of ADB Safegate at airports across South Africa. 

You will make an impact by….

·       Perform technical work at customer premises, airports, events, installations in countries where we operate.

·       Provide a high level of support in different disciplines, technical or non-technical.

·       Performing Surveys, Installation, Maintenance, Calibration, Testing and Commissioning, Troubleshooting and Claims, etc.

·       Performing SAT/FAT when required.

·       Deliver services as per the scope within our framework agreements that is complaint within our business with the aim to deliver on time and within budget.

·       Update and coordination of JIRA ticket management system and timely change of status, completion of necessary details, reports, parameters and resolution of request.

·       Manage the execution of the maintenance tasks within the defined scope of the agreements.

·       Manage the work orders: issuance, execution, and reports.

·       Maintains records and prepares reports related to airfield maintenance and repair activities.

·       Ensure adequacy in spare parts, tools and equipment, vehicles, and other resources.

·       Coordinates daily activities with Contract Managers for planned and unplanned activities that requires additional resources

·       Coordinate preventative maintenance for the scope of works contained in the maintenance plan.

·       Follow up, evaluate, and optimize all PM (Preventive Maintenance) procedures.

·       Work in close collaboration with Contract Manages to complete work orders within the Computer Aided Facility Management System (CAFM).

The talent we want to inspire has...

·       You have experience in AFL (airfield lighting), power and control systems

·       You have 3 – 4 years’ experience working in the aviation/airport industry

·       You have a Diploma in engineering in electronics, electrical or equivalent

·       You speak, read and write fluent English

·       You are able to travel frequently within South Africa and also to different locations

The below skills will be advantages

·       You speak French or Arabic fluent

·       You have AVDGS experience
