Be part of this challenge and join our Sensor Data Fusion team to work on the following tasks:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Developing professional software on a state-of-the-art development stack in the field of fault-tolerant, high-performance computing in the aviation industry
- Implementing, testing, documenting and integrating features within the agile team
- Defining and refining features in close collaboration with the product owner and your development colleagues
- Demonstrating and documenting SW level designs, developing test procedures and attending internal reviews
- Coaching and fostering knowledge-transfer within the team
- Taking end-to-end responsibility for feature development, considering high-level project milestones
Skills required:
- Education in Software Development (either via higher technical college or a degree in computer science, engineering, physics or mathematics)
- Strong interest and knowledge in relevant mathematic principles (Kalman filter, state-transition matrix, …)
- Ability to conduct research, learn about new topics and apply the knowledge
- Proactive and pragmatic approach to finding step-by-step solutions to given problems
- Knowledge about microservices, APIs and data pipelines
- Familiar in working with the GIT and azure frameworks
- Experience with different programming paradigms (functional, object-oriented); programming in Scala, Java and Python is beneficial
- Fluent in English (working language)

In Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement: The minimum salary according to the IT collective agreement for this position is EUR 3.843,- gross per month (14 times per year). Depending on the respective experience level and personal profile, we offer an attractive overpayment.
