The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to establish, optimize, and operate the Tower business line’s platform and delivery pipelines at our new Hyderabad location. You will maintain and evolve our Kubernetes clusters, own Azure DevOps CI/CD for multiple C++ service components, implement infrastructure as code, enable air-gapped/on-prem deployments, and unify existing environments into a consolidated platform—working closely with global teams. 

What you’ll do

• Maintain and evolve our Kubernetes platform across internal and external clusters, including Helm-based deployments.
• Manage build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps for multiple service components; implement artifact versioning, gating, and automated approvals.   
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD (mem check, performance testing, log analysis) to ensure quality and reliability of C++ services. 
• Operate and support core infrastructure services: RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and load balancers.   
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible for clusters, networking, certificates, secrets management, and provisioning.   
• Develop tooling and scripts for air-gapped deployments and base OS provisioning; deliver hardened images and offline package repositories.   
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting frameworks across all system layers (dashboards in Grafana, alerting with Prometheus/Loki).   
• Collaborate closely with developers to optimize containerization, images, and release processes for scalability and reliability.   
• Support the migration towards a unified platform infrastructure by merging existing environments with minimal downtime.   
• Ensure systems are secure and compliant with best practices (TLS, certificates, RBAC, network policies, security hardening).   
• Work with global teams in Europe and the US to deliver platform capabilities and customer projects on time and within budget. 

We’re Looking for Someone With:  

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.   
• Hands-on expertise with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).   
• Experience operating or integrating observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki).   
• Solid knowledge of networking, certificates, and security hardening (K8s RBAC, network policies, TLS/mTLS).   
• Experience with CI/CD automation for C++ services is a strong plus (e.g., CMake builds, static analysis, artifact management).   
• Familiarity with air-gapped and on-prem deployment challenges, including image hardening and offline distribution.   
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, PowerShell; Python beneficial).   
• Experience managing platform services such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgreSQL.   
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate with distributed teams.   
• Ownership mindset and comfort working across infrastructure and delivery automation.
