Commissioning Engineer
Contract Type:  Permanent

The Opportunity

 

The Commissioning Engineer provides field startup and commissioning support for smart airport solutions. The Commissioning Engineer can be located remotely anywhere in the continential US within a hour of an airport, since the role requires up to 75% travel.  

 

You will make an impact by….

  • Coordinating on-site electrical contractor installation, scheduling, and site preparations.
  • Performing system readiness checks and systems acceptance testing.
  • Supporting project lifecycle, manage assigned milestones, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Assisting in bid preparation and technical submittal packages.
  • Reviewing and providing input on product design and changes.
  • Supporting design, software engineering, testing, and validation activities.
  • Conducting training and presentations.


The talent we want to inspire has...

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of related experience, including field technician work.
  • International travel experience.
  • AutoCAD/Drafting/Design experience.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Pass required BCI and FBI Background Check.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written communication).

 

A plus but not a must…. 

  • Fluency in spanish
