Technical Support Engineer
Contract Type:  Permanent

ADB SAFEGATE’s functional teams are integral to powering innovation and ensuring operational excellence across the organization.   

 

The Opportunity: 
The Technical Support Engineer provides first line phone support for internal and external customer support questions, including startup and troubleshooting of electrical and computer systems. 

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm in office and on a rotational basis, provides 24 hours, 7 days a week emergency telephone support remotely

 

You will make an impact by….

  • Providing professional, technical customer service over the phone, email, etc.., to troubleshoot, diagnose and assist airfield personnel and contractors find solutions to hardware and software issues.
  • Performing technical training classes for standard products to internal and external customers 
  • Performing both in house customer validation testing
  • Becoming familiar with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airport policies, procedures and products.


The talent we want to inspire has...

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Associate in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), equivalent degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) to Four (4) years related experience or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience working as a field technician or related experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Must maintain an insurable driving record.
  • Must pass any required BCI and FBI Background Check.
  • Fluent English (oral and written communication skills)
