The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our software development team in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable back-end applications that support airport operations and integrations with external services.

 

The Role

  • Develop and maintain scalable back-end applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and associated tooling.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, cloud architects, and other stakeholders to design and implement secure, reliable server-side solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain RESTful and Streaming APIs to support front-end applications and integrations with external services.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate datastore solutions, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Apply authentication, authorization, and security best practices such as OAuth, JWT, and RBAC.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance issues in server applications, APIs, and databases.
  • Participate in code reviews, resolve defects, and maintain a high level of overall application quality.

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in Node.js and proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and Streaming APIs, including their design and implementation.
  • Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and their integration with server-side applications.
  • Experience with NX or similar mono-repository tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and RBAC.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Languages

  • Fluent in English (writing, reading, and speaking)
