The Opportunity

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive BOM Support / Master Data Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing Bill of Materials (BOM) and master data within S4 Hana, ensuring data integrity, supporting costing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

 

The Role

  • BOM Management: Create, update, and maintain BOM data in S4 Hana to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Master Data Administration: Assist with maintenance of master data, including materials, parts, and related attributes.
  • Data Integrity & Quality: Regularly audit and validate BOM and master data to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
  • Change Management: Support documentation and implementation of BOM changes as per engineering and product management requirements.
  • Costing Support: Assist with costing calculations, updates, and reporting for materials and assemblies in S4 Hana.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate and distribute regular reports on BOMs, inventory, costing, and master data KPIs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, and supply chain teams to support project and product needs.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure all BOM and master data processes comply with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
  • Data Clean-up: Support data cleansing and updates as needed.
  • User Support & Training: Provide assistance and training to team members on S4 Hana BOM and master data processes.

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • Detail-oriented & Accurate: Meticulous in maintaining and validating large volumes of data.
  • Proficiency in S4 Hana & MS Excel: Comfortable navigating ERP systems (especially S4 Hana) and performing data tasks in Excel.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and interpreting technical information.
  • Effective Communicator: Able to clearly explain data issues and processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organized & Self-motivated: Manages multiple priorities efficiently, works independently, and meets deadlines reliably.
