Assistant Sales Manager
Contract Type:  Permanent

The Opportunity

This role is pivotal in executing ADB SAFEGATE’s vision and growth strategy by ensuring the highest standards of Sales, Business Development and Key Account Management, high quality services and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong focus on Customer engagement and value driven solution sales and farming approach and a commitment to compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The candidate will nurture relationships with key clients and partners, enhance customer stickiness and intimacy, and ensure that ADB SAFEGATE remains a trusted leader in advancing airport operations throughout Vietnam.

 

The Airports within Vietnam have significant install base across ADB Safegate’s portfolio of solutions across different business lines.

 

As Sales Manager for Vietnam you will be at the fore front of prospect and customer engagement within Vietnam leading sales and business development function with in country and reporting to Sale Director. 

 

You will make an impact by…. 

  • Define the Sales and Business Development plan for country across organization portfolio of solutions, with effective cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
  • Focus on growth of install base of organization across all the airports in Vietnam leveraging Airside 4.0 strategy and creating value for client as well as organization.
  • Collaborate with Local Authorized Partners and agents of our Organizations’ portfolio of solutions and devise Airport specific business growth objectives including after sales and services strategy.
  • Proactively work towards creating services oriented long term SLA and Managed services opportunities in collaboration with local partners.
  • Coordinate with regional operations and services teams as needed to ensure proactive and efficient support to customers and business partners in  Vietnam.
  • Contribute effectively towards forecasting and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Sales and Business Development operations and shall be prompt in MIS reporting as per regional and global process.
  • Provide coordination and support to all regional stakeholders on projects and engagements with Vietnam.
  • Develop, Build and Nurture strong business relationships with customers and partners in country with consistent engagements, meetings and organize events and road shows in order to bring portfolio awareness and our value proposition.

 

You will make an impact by….

  • Diploma or Engineering Graduate in with a college university of repute.
  • You should have 5-8 years of Industry experience from Infrastructure or Transportation Sector. Airports and Aviation Industry experience is preferred though shall not be deterrent if you are most suited to the role.
  • Experience in managing client relationships together with channel partners and/contractors within Vietnam.
  • Understanding of complexities involved in multi-stakeholder eco-system on the customer’s end.
  • Successful track record demonstrating your business skills in securing high value and complex engineering or technology solutions led projects. Understanding of Managed Services and Long-term Service Level Agreements.
  • Understanding of sales and delivery process on complex engineering and/or technology solution and experience of managing and coordinating the opportunity cycle from inception.   
  • MS Office proficiency
  • CRM tools
  • Understanding ERP systems would be preferred though not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Vietnamese and English Language at least. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Adaptability to work in a multinational, multicultural environment.
